Your purchase grants you private access to studio recorded play-along tracks for each tune in the book, played by leading Traditional Jazz / Hot Jazz artists: 

  • Bria Skonberg – trumpet 

  • Cynthia Sayer – banjo

  • Mike Weatherly – string bass

  • Kevin Dorn – drums

Just follow the instructions below for full access to all 4 versions of the play-along tracks: 

  • Practice Tempo Tracks (noted as PT)

  • Gig Tempo Tracks (noted as GT)

  • Minus Trumpet Tracks (for trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone, violin) 

  • Minus Banjo Tracks (for banjo, guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin)

Pro Tips:

  • You’ll be able to make additional tempo adjustments if you use the Google Chrome browser to access your tracks instead of the app. Click on the 3 dots to the right of the volume icon to select from 3 slower and 4 faster speed options.

  • The first section of the book is organized as FAQs, making it easy to find the musical information and traditions you need to play authentic early jazz. 

  • The tracks can be downloaded onto 2 different devices using the TMC app.
    (Tech aid: If you log into the TMC URL on your desktop, you can also add 2 devices that use the app.)

  1. Click here: www.TMCtunes.com, then create a new account using the access code: 766297

  2. When you see the question, “Is this your school?”  click YES.

  3. After you create your account, you'll see links to download our iOS or Android app called "TMC Tunes". Get the app and log in using the account information you just set up. You'll find your music waiting to be downloaded.
